BUSINESS PATRONS
Wheelchair Rugby League one of the most expensive variants of the game due to the specialised equipment which can range from £1500-10,000 for a sports chair, facilities hire for training and games and the travel costs of transporting our players and all of the equipment around the UK to compete in games and tournaments.
As a charitable organisation we generate our income through sponsorship, funding, fundraising and donations. This is your opportunity to make a GIANT difference to our club by becoming a Business Patron, every single penny counts towards helping our players achieve their potential.
WHERE THE MONEY GOES

Facilities hire - Each time we host a training session it costs the club approx £100 each week and we host up to 42 sessions per year!

Transport - it cost approx £1500-2000 every time we travel to an away match or tournament. This is to transport the players, staff, sports chairs and other equipment. We travel on an average of 5-8 times per year!

Chair maintenance - The sports of Wheelchair Rugby League is physical with a lot of contact, the chairs need regular maintenance of tyres, inner tubes, spokes, bearings and straps. It can cost the club approx £2000 per year to maintain the chairs.

Equipment - We have to replace tags, vests, rugby balls and first aid equipment to ensure that it is safe for our players to use. It costs the club approx £1000 per year to do so.

Match Officials - It costs £160 for the Match Officials for every home game we host where we play our 'A' team and first team.

Projects - You can ensure we reach our community by providing specific projects around increasing participation, getting people active, making friends and having fun.

So for as little as £100 you can make a huge difference from ensuring a training session goes ahead, a player can travel to a game along with their sports chair, our chairs are fit for purpose and you create a platform for our players to compete and aim to fulfil their potential.
