About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Team Manager to join the Edinburgh Giants Inclusive Sports Club on a voluntary basis to play a key role in supporting the coaching team and playing squad in their preparations.
Job Title: Team Manager
Salary: Voluntary position
Location: Home based with support at home & away games as required.
Purpose of the role: To support the coaching staff & team in managing the smooth running of Rugby operations.
Responsibilities & Tasks
Work with relevant stakeholders to produce a fixture list for the upcoming season.
Contact other clubs regarding fixtures and tournaments
Liaise with first team players regarding availabilityÂ
Ensure all players are registered before their first match
Produce a fixture list for the season
Provide the Club Webmaster with details of all Fixtures for publication on the club website, including any amendments or alterations
Work with relevant stakeholders to coordinate fixtures during the season.
Confirm upcoming fixtures with scheduled opposition
Confirm Match Officials for home games
Inform players and officials of any changes in the schedule
Ensure Club Webmaster is provided with details of any alterations to the published fixtures in order for the Website to be amended as necessary
Provide administrative support before, during and after matches.
Complete team sheets and other relevant formsÂ
Assist the Membership Administrator in the collection of club dues and match fees if applicable
Record accidents that occur during match events in accordance with the Club, SRL / RFL policies
Ensure results are recorded
Uphold club values and reputation
Act in accordance with RFL regulationsÂ
Liaise with sponsors who may attend match days
