PLAYER PATHWAY
The Edinburgh Giants are committed to developing pathways for home grown Wheelchair Rugby League talent to provide meaningful opportunities for people to take part in the sport, develop skills and fulfil their potential.
Player development series
A 60 minute game that takes place at least once a month where developing players get to experience playing in a game with teams made up from Giants club members. This includes wearing kit, having the pitch set up and ensuring that they are provided with an opportunity to implement the skills they have been practicing in the training environment.
Wheelchair Challenge
An annual event where a full 80 minute game takes place in partnership with The University of Edinburgh.
North v South
An inter city challenge where two teams will compete in an 80 minute game with the winner claiming the Naomi Gill Memorial trophy.
Giants 'A'
This is the development team for the Edinburgh Giants in which the team will get to compete against other clubs reserves team.
First Team
This is the team that will represent the club in competitive Wheelchair Rugby League in the national league and cup competitions.
