The club held their annual awards night on Wednesday 27th November at Pleasance Sports Complex to review and celebrate a fantastic second season as a club.
The evening kicked off with pizzas and chippy suppers supplied by The Friery with players and sponsors Genista Energy and Control Pro in attendance.
Martyn Gill provided a review of the 2024 season which included a number of key highlights including a 78% win ratio, 10 players making their debut, reaching the Challenge Trophy, qualifying for the Betfred Challenge Cup and submitting an application to join the Super League from 2025. It's hard to believe sometimes that the club has only been in existence since March 2023 and is making great strides both on and off the pitch.
As the evening progressed each player was presented with a 2024 trophy for representing the club and finished with a few special awards and thank-yous to all our sponsors, partners and people that had made 2024 possible.
The winners of the special awards were:
Club Person - Cassandra Cooper
