Following the successful run in the 2024 Challenge Trophy in which the club made it to the final on the first time of entering the tournament, losing to eventual winners of the tournament Hereford Harriers by one point in extra time we have qualified for the prestigious Betfred Challenge Cup competition.

The competition is made up of Super League teams Wigan Warriors, Leeds Rhinos, London Roosters, Halifax Panthers and Hull FC, European champions Catalan Dragons and the winners and finalists of the Challenge Trophy.
A monumental honour for the club to have qualified for the tournament only 12 months after forming and we will face London Roosters who finished 2nd in the Super League last season at the end of the regular rounds.
London who go into the tie as red hot favourites featuring World cup winning internationals Joe Coyd and Lewis King is certainly going to be a next level test for our developing squad, but one that they are relishing given they have earned the right to qualify.
The game is scheduled for the 4th May 2024 at York Sports Centre for a 2pm kick off.
